Grateful to have met them as well! There are some really great bands out there. But only a few great bands happend to make exactly the music that you need in a certain stage of your life.
That makes you love a band and for me that was Yellowcard. Loved the music when I heard it for the first time and it still accompanies me. Music is a very important thing in my life and being able to meet four amazing men, that create sounds and words I could never shape myself, is life changing.
I am forever grateful to be able to meet my favorite band. I connected from my first listen. Energetic, emotional, relatable, moving, and tying in the same beautiful violin sound I had been working hard at since age 5: And each of you in the band are examples of hard work, perseverance, and self-respect that continue to encourage me now as much as then. I made it out of high school in , and I made it to college and my first rock show that year too. I sang every lyric with you at your show in Chicago then.
And again in And for the final tour in Then lastly spring of in AZ. You helped me define my independence, and are still helping me do that now. I was intrigued by a violin in a rock band. Then I discovered your entire music library rocked!
Each new album brought excitement and I have never tired of listening to them. Thanks for the music and the memories. You guys were the first band I ever got into as a kid, I looked you up after hearing Breathing and Lights and Sounds in the old Burnout games when I was around 9. Lights and Sounds was the first album I ever bought and that will always be special to me.
I had never had the means to come to a show before last year. Rock on and I wish you all well in your future endeavors. Yellowcard have been such a massive influence on my life.
They are such a big part of who I am and I am going to miss the guys so much. Wish you guys all the best in the future though. There is always a house for you guys in Canberra Australia. I have been a Yellowcard fan from the very beginning. I would listen to that CD nonstop. This is one of my favorite CDs. I have seen them in concert many times. Start your ride at the Simplot Base Area, ride the chairlift with your bike to the top of Deer Point or grab the shuttle to the Pioneer Lodge. The Mountain Dew shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes out of the Simplot Base Area on weekends and holidays.
Well, you can still go tubing! Feel the wind in your face as you fly down the lower section of the bowl towards the base area. Race side-by-side or solo down the two foot lanes. Once at the bottom, hop on the surface lift for a ride back up, to do it again! Defy gravity and fly more than 20 feet into the air, while doing front flips and back flips without fear of falling!
The harder you bounce the higher you go! Find the right route and reach the top of the foot structure only to be softly let down by the auto belay system. With four different routes to choose from, there is something for everyone.
Built-in timers make this activity ideal for those who would like to challenge a friend. Some songs are also based on social realism, "Feltham is Singing Out" is inspired by Zahid Mubarek  who was sent to the Feltham Young Offenders' Institution and was murdered by his racist cellmate. Other songs, such as " Better Do Better " and "Move on Now", are centred around the premise of how hard romantic relationships can be. Once Hard-Fi were becoming successful, Richard's mother died and the song "Help Me Please" is about how difficult it was for him having his dreams come true after many unsuccessful bands but realises he has no parents to share the joy with.
Similarly, "The King" is about Richard returning to Staines and finding everything completely different, and realising everything of which he knew and loved had disappeared. Being admirers of Perry's work, the band named themselves after his distinctive sound.
